Batman and Robin stop the crooks by using lead shielding to block the commands from Fenton. In the end, the committee decides to preserve Gotham Village, and Linda and James reconcile. This issue is notable for debuting the yellow elliptical Bat-logo, marking the start of the Silver Age Batman's Earth-1 adventures.
