High Value: $3,400

Minimum Value: $40

In Wonder Woman #47 (1951), our hero embarks on a secret mission to the North Pole to deliver equipment for a radar station. Along the way, she encounters "mole men" who shot down Steve Trevor, the radar station scout. These same "mole men" also fired at Wonder Woman because they were under attack from enemy planes, unbeknownst to the pilots. The issue also features comedic relief with "Jerry the Jitterbug" and highlights the historical figure Lady Hestor Stanhope. Wonder Woman even travels back in time to piece together the mystery of an Indian totem pole with her likeness carved into it. The issue concludes with a text story titled "The Pen and the Sword" and a Public Service Announcement with Buzzy Brown called "Get It Off Your Chest." Don't miss out on adding this classic issue to your collection.
