The X-Men #7 (1964)

In The X-Men #7 (1964), the X-Men graduate and Cyclops is appointed as team leader by Professor Xavier. Meanwhile, Magneto reveals his plan to defeat the X-Men to the Brotherhood, and goes on a mission to recruit the Blob from a carnival. After a fight, Magneto uses his powers on the Blob, triggering his memory of a previous encounter with the X-Men. Cyclops becomes aware of this and rallies the X-Men to fight the Brotherhood, but it turns out to be a trap set by Magneto. The evil mutants then send missiles at the X-Men, but Blob blocks them and the Brotherhood leaves. The X-Men try to recruit the Blob, but he opts to go his own way. Also, this issue features the first appearance of a cafe in Greenwich Village, where the X-Men visit in future stories, and introduces Zelda, who becomes Iceman's girlfriend.
