The Brave and the Bold #12 (1957)

In the comic book world, The Brave and the Bold #12 is a legend. This issue, published in 1957, is where the character of the Justice League was first formed. But this issue isn't about that team. Instead, it starts off with Robin Hood in "The Apple of Peril!" written by Bob Haney. The story is beautifully penciled and inked by Russ Heath. Next up is "Monster of the Viking Sea!" written by the same Bob Haney and illustrated by the legendary Joe Kubert. Lastly, we have "Shadow of the Silent Knight!" written by Robert Kanigher and illustrated by Irv Novick.
