The Amazing Spider-Man #26 (1965)

In one of the most exciting issues of The Amazing Spider-Man, we follow Peter Parker as he searches for his lost Spider-Man costume. Meanwhile, the Green Goblin and the Crime-Master are having a meeting which quickly turns sour. The Crime-Master goes on a rampage, building himself a dangerous reputation by attacking all the local mob bosses in New York. Peter goes to the Bugle where a fight with Betty Brant erupts. Later, he finds a new Spider-Man suit at a local costume shop but it quickly falls apart. Spider-Man gets into a fight with the Crime-Master, who knocks him off the roof, but Spider-Man manages to swing himself to safety. The Green Goblin crashes a meeting between the Crime-Master and all the local mob bosses, carrying Spider-Man's unconscious body. Could this be the end of Spider-Man?
