Tales of Suspense #51 (1964)

In this issue, the story begins with Iron Man, who catches a criminal with the help of an expert contortionist. However, things take a dramatic turn when the contortionist decides to turn to the dark side and becomes a criminal himself, calling himself Scarecrow (alias the Uncanny Umberto).

Scarecrow then goes on a mission to steal weapon plans from Stark's penthouse, but Iron Man is on his tail. Stark agrees to pay a ransom for the stolen plans, but Scarecrow has other plans, and he heads to Cuba. The only person who can stop Scarecrow now is Iron Man, but can he catch him in time?

To add some drama to the story, Pepper Potts, Stark's assistant, becomes jealous and decides to sabotage his romantic life. Talk about a wild ride!
