Superman #66, written by William Woolfolk, features the 'Babe of Steel' in a battle against the notorious Prankster. While trying to steal a diamond necklace, the Prankster discovers the fountain of youth in the Florida everglades. He uses it to make a former child star young again so she can get a part in a movie. After Superman thwarts his plan, the Prankster tries to make Lois drink the water so she will become young, only to find Clark drinks it instead and turns into a baby. The issue also includes 'The Last Days of Superman,' in which Superman is weakened by Kryptonite which had been mistaken for a rare gem, and is informed by a doctor that he only has a month left to live. Superman tries to leave a legacy by building stockpiles of coal and oil and a super solar plant before discovering that a sliver of Kryptonite got stuck in a photographer's camera. The hero then rushes to erase a moon message revealing his true identity. If you own this comic, contact us for a complimentary appraisal or to sell your collection for a fair price.
