Superman #141 (1960)

In Superman #141 (1960), our hero accidentally travels back in time and finds himself on Krypton, the planet of his birth, before he was even born! In part II, Superman meets the love of his life, a woman who is unfortunately destined to perish along with the rest of the doomed planet. Undeterred by this ominous fate, Superman and his fiancée make a brave decision to face the oncoming destruction head-on, but little do they know that fate has a surprise in store for them. This comic is a classic and has been reprinted in several collections, including Superman #232, Superman: The Greatest Stories Ever Told #2, and Showcase Presents: Superman #2.
