Strange Tales #89 (1961)

In this story, we follow a half Chinese scholar living on Formosa who is shunned by his family for not joining the Nationalist Chinese Army like his brother. He, however, has his own plans to help defend the island from the Red Chinese by sneaking to the mainland and raising the ancient dragon Fin Fang Foom!

As if that wasn't enough, this issue also includes two other great stories: "The Future" and "The Touch of Midas." But let's be honest, it's all about that Fin Fang Foom goodness.
