Star Spangled Comics #122 (1951)

In Star Spangled Comics #122 (1951), we get the first-ever appearance of Doctor 13, AKA Ghost-Breaker. This comic took over the cover from Tomahawk for the short remainder of the series. Superman even makes an appearance and says, "The world is our schoolroom" in a PSA.

The story follows Doctor 13 as he keeps an appointment to meet his father 5 years after the man's death. We also get to see Robin in "The Bad Boy of Gotham City" storyline. Floyd Wood, an orphan and juvenile delinquent, is taken under Robin's wing and they go camping. But things take a turn for the worse when Floyd drugs Robin and takes pictures of him unmasked. To make matters worse, a forest fire breaks out.

But don't worry, this comic also has some humor in it with "Honey in Hollywood" and "Private Pete" strips. There's even a text story called "From a King to Collage Campus" and "The Clue of the Redman's Dog" featuring Tomahawk. And let's not forget the "Quick Quiz" with four panels of questions and answers.
