Star Spangled Comics #117 (1951)

High Value: $1,000

Minimum Value: $12

Star Spangled Comics #117 (1951) features a number of gripping stories, including one titled 'Siege' that sees Tomahawk bravely defending a small settlement from attack by Native Americans. In 'Voyage of the Revenge', we join Captain Compass on a rescue mission, while 'Tootsie Roll Add' tells the tale of Captain Tootsie's heroics. In 'Black Market Marauders', Interpol is on the trail of a group that is stealing post-war shipments of Marshall Plan food. There's even a little humor thrown in with 'Little Pete' and 'Peg'! But my favorite story in this issue has to be 'Robin-Cadet Wonder', which sees Dick Grayson enlist at Porter Military Academy to uncover why honor students are having such bad luck. And in a truly heartwarming public service announcement, Superboy reminds his classmates to keep an open mind when it comes to different cultures and customs. So if you're looking to add some incredible, action-packed stories to your comic book collection, Star Spangled Comics #117 is a must-have. Trust us, you won't be disappointed.
