Showcase #36 (1962)

High Value: $2,600
Minimum Value: $32

In Showcase #36, we follow the adventures of physicist Ray Palmer, who discovers a way to shrink himself to the size of an atom. As you can imagine, this discovery leads to some pretty wild situations.
Palmer's size-changing abilities come in handy when he must rescue his girlfriend from a spider's web, fight off miniature invaders in a dollhouse, and even explore the inner workings of a human body. But his small size also makes him a target, and he must face off against a menacing cat and a group of rats.
What I love about Showcase #36 is how it balances science fiction and action in such an entertaining way. The scenarios may be fantastical, but the stakes always feel real. And while the story is certainly of its time, it's still a lot of fun to read today.
If you're a fan of classic comics or just looking for a rollicking adventure, Showcase #36 is a must-read. And if you happen to have a copy in your collection, Comics Into Cash would be more than happy to take it off your hands.
