Justice League of America #28 (1964)

In Justice League of America #28 (1964), the JLAers face a cunning villain in Headmaster Mind, who has devised a plan to neutralize their powers through a device that creates natural disasters. Matters escalate when the Matter Master robs a jet airliner in mid-air, leading Batman and Green Arrow to intervene, only to crash their planes thanks to the Matter Master's Wand of Mentachem. The Top, the Tattooed Man, and the Matter Master all conspire with Headmaster Mind to commit crimes while the JLA is unable to use their powers. Wonder Woman, in particular, falls prey to Headmaster Mind's machinations, with her Cardial Vibrations manipulated to cause a chain reaction of natural disasters. With the JLA unable to use their powers, it's up to Batman and Green Arrow to resolve the crisis, all while investigating Headmaster Mind's activities. Eventually, the JLA succeeds in taking down the villains and lifting the injunction against them, thanks to their own detective work and heroics.
