High Value: $960

Minimum Value: $12

In Justice League of America #26 (1964), Despero is back to his old tricks! He escapes his prison and ages half of the JLA, sending the remaining members to alternate worlds. This includes Snapper Carr, who emerges from the Tunnel of Love as an old man, and heroes like Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, and the Atom, who have been aged into feebleness. The Flash, Aquaman, and the Green Lantern also fall victim to Despero's hourglasses, dissolving into chronal sand and transported to one of three parallel Earths.

But don't worry, the heroes aren't down for the count just yet. They team up with some unexpected allies on their respective parallel worlds to take down Despero. The Flash mentors a hyper-intelligent Tyrannosaurus Rex to use his super-human speed, the Green Lantern works with butterfly people who can operate his power ring, and Aquaman leads a fish army through a super-smart shark.

In the end, Wonder Woman reveals that an aged Superman is actually Despero in disguise and orders him to restore the youth to the JLA and return the missing members. This thrilling issue showcases the JLA's strength and resourcefulness in the face of a powerful foe.
