In this incredible issue of Hit Comics, we witness a story full of mystery, suspense, and intrigue. The plot follows a young boy named Kid, who unfortunately witnesses a murder take place. Despite his best efforts, he's unable to stop the crime from happening due to the foolishness of a character named Mr. Keeper. As it turns out, the victim of the murder is Simon Kane's partner in a law firm, Mr. Emory. Kane wants to take over the entire firm for himself, and he stages a young man named Jimmy Conroy for the murder.
Despite the odds being stacked against them, Kid manages to save the day by summoning two historical figures to help him out. Unfortunately, their efforts are not enough, and the case seems to be completely airtight. Even the best efforts of a famous lawyer, Daniel Webster, are not enough to turn the tide. Thankfully, Kid wakes up in time and manages to summon a legendary figure to help him out. With the odds stacked against him, Kid returns to the courthouse to try and save Conroy.
