High Value: $1,900

Minimum Value: $23

Hit Comics #27 (1943) tells the tale of two men, McKay and McGraw, who are turned into extremely fit specimens by Mr. Keeper upon the request of Kid. However, their newfound physiques don't get them the attention they hoped for from the ladies, so they decide to enlist in the army. The men are disappointed to find out they must start by cleaning up the army area. Kid wants Mr. Keeper to make them generals so they don't have to, but Keep teaches Kid a lesson, and they return to their original shapes. Kid must prove his worthiness to become his empowered self again. Meanwhile, a rumor of their formula spreads, and an elderly crime boss orders to have them kidnapped. Kid fights against the gang and captures them. Everything wraps up nicely, and other comics such as Betty Bates, Woopy, Dan Tootin, Stormy Foster, Great defender Bob and Swab, Will Wisp, Will The Wisp, and a Bill the Magnificent-comic are included.
