Fantastic Four #67 (1967)

Fantastic Four #67, published in 1967, is a thrilling comic that features the Fantastic Four on their most daring rescue mission yet! The story begins with Alicia, one of the protagonists, finding herself deep in Lock 41 of the Beehive, where she comes across some horrifying experiments being conducted by an organization. Alicia encounters 'Him', a powerful new creature created by a team of scientists. However, Him isn't pleased with his creators and is instead set on destroying them.

While Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic, tries to duplicate the teleporting bracelet that was used to abduct Alicia, the scientists welcome her to their laboratory. The scientists create a powerful new creature who gives off a dazzling radioactive light, and they can't see what he looks like. So they bring in the blind sculptress Alicia to create a stone facsimile of their creation.

However, the men who created Him have ulterior motives: they want to use him for world domination! But the creature is no fool and knows of the men's plans. Him finally lashes out at the scientists just as the Fantastic Four arrive to rescue Alicia.

What makes this comic standout and truly memorable is that the creation known simply as Him would eventually become an iconic character in his own right. He adopts the name Adam Warlock and goes on to become the savior of Counter-Earth. This comic is an excellent addition to any collection and a must-read for all comic book fans!
