Fantastic Four #50 (1966)

This comic book, Fantastic Four #50, is a cosmic battle of epic proportions between the Silver Surfer and Galactus. While the Silver Surfer tries to plead with Galactus to spare Earth, it becomes clear that Galactus cannot be convinced, as he "does what Galactus must." Meanwhile, Johnny has returned with a weapon that can destroy an entire galaxy. The Watcher, knowing he cannot participate directly, has led the FF to this weapon as leverage to force Galactus to leave. In the end, Galactus does leave Earth but not before stripping the Silver Surfer of his powers. This comic book is a must-read for any fan of the Fantastic Four.
