Fantastic Four #41 (1965)

In Fantastic Four #41 from 1965, we see the Frightful Four pull out all the stops to get the upper hand on their arch-nemeses, the Fantastic Four. To do that, they've brainwashed their former colleague, the Thing, using a powerful new weapon - the ID MACHINE. The Thing becomes fighting mad and takes on his own team single handedly, knocking them all out in the process. The story ends on a cliffhanger with Mr. Fantastic helplessly stuck to a board as the Thing threatens to do to him what he believes Mr. Fantastic did to him.
