Fantastic Four #27 (1964) is a classic tale of superhero romance, jealousy, and adventure. Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, invents a 'thought projector' which unintentionally reveals his true feelings for his teammate Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman. But Reed isn't the only one with eyes for Sue, as the Sub-Mariner also uses his 'undersea scanner' to catch a glimpse of her. In a love triangle worthy of a Shakespearean play, Reed deliberates about proposing to Sue while the Sub-Mariner decides to kidnap her for a day to win her heart.

Things go awry when the Sub-Mariner incapacitates the other two members of the Fantastic Four, The Thing and The Human Torch, and makes off with Sue. Reed, determined to rescue his love, sets out to find the Sub-Mariner on his own. But Johnny Storm, The Human Torch, knows they need backup and enlists the help of the legendary Dr. Strange.

This issue is a must-read for fans of classic superhero storytelling, with excitement and romance in equal measure. Get your hands on Fantastic Four #27 (1964) and discover why the Fantastic Four remain Marvel's first family of superheroes.
