Fantastic Four #19 (1963)

High Value: $4,800

Minimum Value: $57

Fantastic Four #19 (1963) introduces us to an exciting adventure with our favorite team of superheroes. After discovering a rare herb that could cure Alicia Masters's blindness, Reed gets the Fantastic Four together to go back in time to ancient Egypt. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when they are shot by a gun that takes away their powers, and they meet a pharaoh named Rama-Tut who claims to be from the year 3000.

What's great about this issue is that we get a chance to see our heroes in a vulnerable state. Stripped of their superpowers, they're forced to rely on their wits to escape Rama-Tut's grasp. The storyline is exciting and keeps readers on the edge of their seats.

But the most fascinating part of Fantastic Four #19 is the introduction of the Gallery of Super Villains, which includes Puppet Master, Mole Man, Skrulls, and Doctor Doom. This issue sets the stage for many of the Fantastic Four's future battles.
