Detective Comics #123 (1947)

Detective Comics #123 is a classic from 1947, featuring the Dynamic Duo in a thrilling adventure against the Shiner and his gang of aerial pirates. The cover shows a tense standoff as a masked thug points a tommy gun at Batman, but Robin comes to the rescue by rolling a manhole cover his way.
