Captain America Comics #47 (1945)

One of the most iconic superheroes of all time, Captain America, makes his heroic debut in this 1945 issue. The comic features an epic showdown between Captain America and the villainous Crime Dictator Human Torch, and also includes a chilling text story titled "Horror in Room 1705 AWOL."
