Blue Ribbon Comics #4 (1940)

Blue Ribbon Comics #4, published in 1940, introduces a number of new characters to the comic book world and marks the first issue to feature circular badges on its cover. Among the new characters introduced in this issue are Hercules, who is still the son of Zeus even though he lives in modern times and wears a suit, and Gypsy Johnson, an adventurer. The comic also features the first appearance of The Fox, Ty-Gor, Loop Logan, and The Green Knight. Additionally, this issue kicks off the Doc Strong and the Isle of Right storyline. Notably, Blue Ribbon Comics #4 was later reprinted.
