In this issue of Batman, the Caped Crusader and his sidekick Robin face off against their arch-nemesis, the Joker. The Joker attempts to steal a jewel collection from the Gotham Museum of Modern Art, but Batman and Robin thwart his plan. The Joker then creates his own utility belt to rival Batman's, causing chaos at the Gotham Opera House. Later, the Joker tries to steal a priceless collection of rare native masks, and in the struggle, slips his utility belt onto Batman. However, the quick-thinking Batman turns the tables on the Joker, capturing him and his gang. This exciting story was adapted into a two-part episode of the classic Batman TV show and is a must-read for any true Batman fan.
