Batman #3 (1940)

In Batman #3, our hero faces off against a number of villains, including the Cat-Woman and the Diabolical Puppet Master. The Puppet Master has developed a serum that allows him to hypnotize people and control their actions from afar. Using this serum, he hypnotizes a famous scientist who has developed a formula for atomic energy. Batman comes to the rescue and fights off the Puppet Master's goons, ultimately saving the formula and thwarting the villain's plan. However, the Puppet Master manages to scratch Batman with his serum, leaving our hero vulnerable to his control. In a tense showdown, Batman must fight against his own mind in order to stop the Puppet Master once and for all. This exciting issue is a must-read for Batman fans and collectors.
