However, Superman gets involved, and Judd uses gas to escape. Later on, his henchmen steal his cash and destroy his script to protect themselves. Superman saves Judd and rounds up the thugs. This story is called "Haircut - and a Close Shave!" and is part of Action Comics #96, published in 1946.
