Action Comics #33 (1941)

Action Comics #33 features the heroic Superman investigating a case of sabotage and mysterious deaths at a lumber camp. The story follows Lumber magnate Ken Hall, who leaves a will donating all proceeds from his lumber camps to underprivileged youths. Shortly after, Hall dies from a mysterious fall off a cliff. His brother challenges the will in court, but the children should still receive the proceeds. However, there is still no money forthcoming, and the lumber camps are plagued by accidents and poor production. Clark and Lois investigate the case, posing as workers at the lumber camp. When a worker tries to kill Lois, Superman steps in to save her and investigate further. They discover that Brett Hall murdered his brother and sabotaged the camp so he could buy it cheaply. The story is full of twists and turns, with plenty of action and adventure. This vintage comic is a must-read for anyone interested in classic superhero stories and is sure to be a valuable addition to any comic collection.
