Action Comics #285 (1962)

In Action Comics #285, Supergirl takes center stage as she's forced to reveal her secret identity to her foster parents to save their lives. Luckily, Superman is willing to vouch for our girl and even allows her to reveal her true self to the world. But that's not the end of the story.

In Part 2 of this action-packed issue, the Legion makes their 7th appearance, sending Supergirl a powerful weapon from the future to help her defeat a dangerous monster on the loose. And if that wasn't enough excitement for you, Brainiac 5 finally confesses his love for our blonde hero.
