High Value: $3,200

Minimum Value: $39

Action Comics #107 from 1947 is a must-read for any comic book enthusiast. The cover features Superman breaking through a wall, before Kool-Aid Man made it cool, to apprehend a criminal with stolen goods. Inside, the first story titled "Journey into Ruin" sees Superman trying to stop a scam artist named Wilbur Wolfingham who plans to invest his wealthy patrons' money while they sleep for 25 years. Superman foils his plans by moving his house to a remote location and building a representation of the city as it might appear in 25 years. When the patrons awaken, they realize the error of their ways.

The other stories in this issue are just as thrilling. The Congo Bill story titled "Master of Magic" features an ex-vaudeville magician helping natives with his tricks until two evil men take control and exploit them in a diamond mine. In "Let it Rain," Zatara foils a second-story thief's plan to steal by using insider meteorological information. Finally, Vigilante discovers an old enemy who offers to give him a horse in exchange for doing a job that will keep him away from his gang. Will he fall for the trap?
