Action Comics #104 (1947)

Action Comics #104 tells the thrilling story of Superman's battle against the evil Prankster. The prankster proposes a business partnership with Mr. Sweetooth, a candy company owner, suggesting they build a theme park called Candytown that will attract kids and boost sales. Sweetooth agrees, and construction of Candytown begins. However, Superman overhears Prankster telling his thugs his real plan - he plans to spike the candy with a bitter taste, ruin Candytown, and capture all its customers, while building his own rival theme park called Goodytown. Superman shows up and demolishes Candytown before anyone can get in, but Prankster has loaded all the kids onto buses and is taking them to Goodytown. Sweetooth thinks he is ruined since Prankster has stolen all his customers, but with Superman's help, it is revealed that Prankster himself has been scammed, since Sweetooth owns the supposedly bankrupt Goody Co, and Prankster's purchase of Goody Co is invalid. Action Comics #104 is an exciting and action-packed comic that showcases Superman's bravery and intelligence in the face of danger, and it is no wonder that it has become a classic among comic book fans.
