Crow #2 (1989)
The Crow #2 (1989) opens with Eric Draven, affectionately known as "The Crow" reminiscing about happier times with his wife, Shelly Webster. The comic book details the story of how Eric has been brought back to life to avenge his untimely death and that of his beloved wife. In his journey for justice, Eric catches up with Skank and Tom Tom, who give him information about the location of his wife's wedding ring, which is being held at "Gideon's Pawn" shop.
With this information, Eric heads to Gideon Resale, where he gets back Shelly's ring. However, he also takes the opportunity to seek revenge on Gideon by killing him and blowing up the pawn shop. In a poignant moment, Eric talks with Albrect about his wife before asking him to send a message to Captain Hook.
As Eric continues on his journey, he bumps into Sherri and gives her Shelly's engagement ring before telling her he is going to send her mother Sandy Skin back home. Eric then meets up with Funboy, who is with Sandy, and keeps his promise to Sandy by returning her home. Eric and Funboy then agree to meet at the Gin Mill, setting the stage for the next chapter of the story.
